A Day to Remember: Ericka & Kevin's Sacramento Wedding

Ericka and Kevin’s wedding day was an absolute blast! They chose the vibrant city of Sacramento, California, for their big day, and it was a magical mix of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

 

The day started with us taking some first look photos by the hotels swimming pool and then that was followed by stunning golden hour pictures in Old Town Sacramento. The historic district with its charming streets and buildings was the perfect backdrop for some truly special shots of the soon-to-be-wed couple. 

 

From Old Town, we headed to the venue, Mulvaney’s B&L. A famous farm-to-table restaurant, Mulvaney’s B&L is housed in a historic 1893 firehouse. With its exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and rustic charm, it was the perfect setting for Ericka and Kevin’s nuptials. The couple’s choice of venue not only showed off their fancy taste but also their love for the lively city they call home.

 

As a photographer, I always look out for those special moments that really capture the essence of the couple’s relationship. And for Ericka and Kevin, that moment had to be when we asked a low rider driver if his car could be in their photo. The couple’s genuine love for fun and their adventurous spirit really came to the fore in this moment. The resulting shot, with the sun setting in the background and the gleaming low rider adding a touch of whimsy, was nothing short of amazing.

 

This wedding was a perfect blend of tradition and fun, elegance and quirkiness, all set against the stunning backdrop of Sacramento. It was an absolute joy and privilege to capture Ericka & Kevin’s special day, a day when two people promised to love and cherish each other in the city they love.
